Trait Design have been our primary designers for the last twenty years and they provide an invaluable service to us. They are passionate guardians of our brand and have always produced work of the highest standard – from technical documents to 40m2 exhibition stands in Chinese.

Bruce, Ross and the team have never let us down on any job. Even when faced with short deadlines or difficult amendments, they are never phased and I am always confident that they will get the job done.

Seven years ago we asked Trait to look at some of our core marketing collateral, especially our annual conference material, in order to create a fresh and innovative design, look and feel. We were extremely pleased with the results and all materials were launched on time and on budget.

Trait has worked for Royal London for 35 years. Personally, I’ve worked with them for more than 12 years. This is how good they are.

Over just six working days, Trait produced 26 text-heavy multi-page documents (of four different types) from raw copy to print ready artwork. Some of these went to as many as eight proofs, because we kept changing things! Trait did this in addition to producing their regular work for me (i.e. several other documents) at the same time.

They did all this without a single mistake. Not a typo, not a wrong comma or line break, not a style inconsistency…nothing. And don’t think that’s because I just didn’t notice or I wouldn’t care: I’m famous for being obsessed with getting everything absolutely right. Actually I’m almost as obsessed about it as Bruce and his colleagues at Trait.

I really thought twice when Bruce asked to me to write a testimonial, should I write what he wanted me to say, or should I tell the truth? Okay, so they’re not really that good, there are plenty of better agencies out there, many quicker and cheaper.

No…that’s a joke!  Trait is terrific in all these areas. The truth is, I want them to stay as they are and have them all to myself!
